Send a public repository
This is the fastest way to find out whether the practice is worth your time, and it costs nothing.
Send a link to a public repository, along with the release or milestone you care about if you have one in mind. I will run a structural pass across its public commit metadata — no source code, nothing installed, and nothing sent to an AI model — then reply with a short report of what shipped but never reached the documentation.
No call is required and no obligation follows. If the report shows that your documentation is keeping up, that is the answer you get, and it is a real one.
Booking an engagement
If you already know you want the audit, the first call takes 30 minutes and covers seven questions:
- Which release or date window matters most right now?
- Which three sources are we reconciling, and where does each one live?
- Who owns the technical decisions, and who signs off on acceptance?
- What would make this report worth the money to you?
- What security and procurement constraints apply?
- What is explicitly out of scope?
- What does your decision process and timeline look like?
If your stack is one I cannot read, I will tell you on that call rather than after you have paid for something.
What to have ready
None of this is required for a first conversation, but having the answers shortens the second conversation considerably:
- Where the repository lives, meaning GitHub or GitLab.
- Where the tracker lives, meaning Jira or the built-in issues in either forge.
- Where the documentation is published, and roughly how many pages it contains.
- The release, milestone, or date window you want reconciled.
- Whether a security review is required before any pilot can run.
